NEW! YRC Delivers More Savings for SIA members!
SIA and YRC are pleased to announce new shipping rates that can provide cost savings with YRC by up to 17% on your existing YRC program! This increase in savings applies towards qualifying less-than-truckload shipments through your SIA YRC partner program.

Special Class Exemption on Footwear Freight to members enrolled in the SIA’s YRC benefit program.
YRC is offering a special class exemption to return these shipments back to class 100, that’s reducing your Footwear shipping rates by 30%. This offer is only available by enrolling in the SIA/YRC program. Members previously enrolled in the SIA YRC Shipping Program will automatically receive this class exemption.

YRC, Adding Value to Your Membership
SIA and YRC have developed 2 new offerings to enhance the value of the YRC shipping program. These offerings include Freight Bill Audit, Price Promise, and Save $100.
The bill of lading (BOL) states exactly what is being shipped, where it's coming from, and where it's going. It is important to accurately complete the BOL to insure your shipment is not delayed or acquire extra charges. A recent 12 month review of SIA member shipments found 6% of BOLs were improperly completed. Those shipments resulted in roughly 24% higher rates than what SIA has negotiated for their membership. YRC understands that each SIA member has service and price requirements that are unique to their business operations and we cannot simply provide a “one size fits all” approach.
