The Workshops are gearing up for our 20th season under faculty management. This fall we will visit 15 locations across the US. At each site we will present 1 to 3 days of practical training- learning-by-doing. On Day 1 at all locations we offer three courses accredited by the major binding suppliers: Binding Mechanics Basic, Binding Mechanics Advanced, and Rental Mechanics Update. At 8 locations on Day 2 we offer courses for Ski and Snowboard mechanics covering tuning and repair. And at 5 locations we offer a third day of Management Seminars covering in-shop training, and rental and service center management.
Practical, hands-on training is required by the major equipment suppliers. The Workshops are a cost-effective means of getting that training, a good way to break-in the entry level mechanic, and a great review for the experienced technician. Shops that take the opportunity to register now can save 15% in comparison to the fee charged a week prior to the event.
