NORDICA COMPETITION SERVICES REVAMPED

West Lebanon, NH (July 29, 2009) -- Nordica USA continues its tradition of industry leading service with a retooled and fully equipped competition and promotion team.
 
Andy Hare, who was recently promoted to Director of Product and Promotions, will head up the Promotions Department for Nordica USA. Working closely with him out of the corporate headquarters in New Hampshire will be Erica Kattalia in the post of Marketing and Promotions Coordinator. Erica is responsible for the day to day customer service aspects of promotions and will be assisting Andy in administering all of the various promotional programs.
 
Nordica is also excited to announce the appointment of two new field service representatives. Ethan Korpi has been promoted to the position of Eastern Competitions and Promotions Coordinator and will be responsible for servicing the promotional communities in the Eastern USA. Ethan is a graduate of the University of Vermont where he was Captain of the men's alpine team.
 
Mirroring Ethan's role in the East, the Western Competition and Promotions position has been filled with the hiring of Sam Beck. Sam will cover a large territory servicing the race clubs and freeride programs in the Western USA states but will be based out of Utah. "I'm very excited about the promotions team that we now have in place," commented Willy Booker GM of Nordica USA. "With direction from Andy, who has a tremendous experience base in addition to three young, motivated and highly skilled group to work with, I'm confident that we will be setting the standard for service in this area of the industry." Andy, Erica, Ethan and Sam all have extensive ski racing backgrounds both at the Academy and Collegiate levels, which is a background, that is very difficult to replicate.

"In a season as critical as this one it is very important to be in the field at the grass roots level working with our customers, athletes and partners to insure the best results and the best service.
