Vail Resorts Offers Discounted Epic Season Pass Exclusively to Snow Show Attendees

1/18/2013

Washington, DC (January 18, 2013) -- For a fourth year, SIA Snow Show attendees can purchase a discounted Epic Pass which offers unlimited and unrestricted access to Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood and Arapahoe Basin for only $259. The SIA Epic Pass is available any time during the 2013 SIA Snow Show, January 31 – February 3, at the Epic Pass booth (#1148). The pass is valid from February 4 through the remainder of the 2012/2013 season.

“We’re pleased to again offer the Epic Pass to our valued friends and partners in the snow sports industry at an unprecedented 60 percent off of the regular price,” said Kirsten Lynch, chief marketing officer of Vail Resorts. “This is Vail Resorts way to show our appreciation to the thousands of snow sports professionals who help ensure our guests are well-equipped and prepared for their ski and ride vacations.”

The SIA Epic Pass also connects attendees to EpicMix.com so they can track their experiences on the slopes. EpicMix tracks skiers and snowboarders vertical feet on the mountain and awards digital pins for special accomplishments and makes it easy to share their mountain experience with friends and family through social networks. EpicMix Photo enables guests to visually capture and share their experience on the snow. EpicMix Racing shows Epic Pass holders how their race times compare to the ski racing great Lindsey Vonn.

Ten dollars of each SIA Epic Pass purchase will go to Winter Feels Good, a nonprofit organization that provides outreach tools to introduce youth to snow sports.

The SIA Epic Pass does not include summer 2013 access and is only available for adults. Snow Show attendees must be present with a 2013 badge to purchase.
