How long have you worked for SIA? 16 years
Where did you grow up? Virginia
Sports team: Redskins/Nationals
Board game: Yahtzee
Best SIA Snow Show memory: Don’t know if it’s the best, but sure was memorable – looking up in giant data sheet notebooks, to see if the people standing in the registration line (that was reaching out the door, at the Hilton) were pre-registered.
What’s something that not many people know about you? I used to be skinny
Who are your favorite bands or musicians? Country music: Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton specifically
Coolest place you have ever been: Grand Canyon (the slots in Vegas are a contender)
Top three off-snow activities: Reading, crossword puzzles, TV
What’s your favorite candy bar? Snickers Bar but my favorite candy is Gummy Bears
What’s your best snow sports memory? Tubing at Whitetail, since skiing is not my forte.
What’s the first ski/snowboard shop you visited? Fairfax Surf Shop
First area I skied/rode at… Wolf Laurel – and that is not to say I succeeded – after falling a zillion time just to get to the slope, I decided it would be easier to walk down, so I hugged the tree line and walked, not skied to the lodge.
