Joe’s Sporting Goods | St. Paul, MN

Joe’s Ski Shop has been serving the Twin Cities Metro area for more than 80 years! Joe’s started as a Buick repair garage in 1930 at its original location near downtown St. Paul. After many expansions, the shop moved to their current location in Little Canada MN where it launched an internet store so that it could cater to customers nationwide. Joe’s currently sells outdoor products for fishing, camping, hunting, and snow sports.

Joe’s philosophy is to carry on the tradition, set in 1930, of providing an enjoyable experience in the outdoors by offering the best products at a fair price, without compromising the highest level of service.

“Customer service has always been the focus here at Joe’s. We have extensive training with our employees, some of whom have been with us for more than 25 years, and have quite a following. That’s what keeps customer’s loyal,” said Joe Rauscher, co-owner of Joe’s Sporting Goods. “Growing up above the store gave us a different perspective on the industry. I remember fitting customers in Munari and Trapper boots and Cubco bindings when I was 12 years old. That’s a tradition that is carried on today with all our ski shop employees attending Masterfit University.”

In addition to providing outstanding customer service, Joe’s Sporting Goods has been actively involved with the American Cancer Society and Children’s Cancer Research foundations. Over the past 17 years, Joe’s has raised more than 250,000.00 for those organizations.

Today, Joe’s is co-owned by Joseph H. and James T. Rauscher, grandsons of the original owner and they are proudly playing a key role in the snow sports industry.
