Mike Lamb

Originally from southern Colorado, I started skiing at the age of ten with my local Boy Scout Troop and from there, skiing has been the center of my life ever since!

I raced throughout Colorado while in high school and college. I also served as a member of the Wolf Creek Ski patrol from 1964 to 1968, when I then became a ski instructor for the Dick Boyce ski school. Since then, I have been teaching skiing for 40 years and am a PSIA level 3 certified instructor.

I moved to North Carolina in 1970 to teach skiing at Cataloochee ski area. Moving to Boone the next year, I continued teaching and coached ski racing at Appalachian Ski Mtn. where I ended up as the director of skiing at the French Swiss Ski College and later at Sugar Mountain Resort.

I started his career as a ski rep in 1980 with Superfeet and went into sales full time in 1984.

With the climate in the southeast, I have been able to diversify my sales business to include outdoor, whitewater rafting and the resort markets. An avid outdoor enthusiast, I feel fortunate to be able to make a living in the fields I enjoys. I have also served on the boards of directors of both the ski and outdoor reps associations and represented the Southeast on the PSIA-E ski school directors committee.

I count my customers not only as business partners but as my best friends and feel that God has blessed me to be able to work with people who have the same love for the sport that I have!

Mike currently represents Atomic, Auclair, Lorpen, Sports Accessories, Swix-Uvex, Wintersteiger and the Duck Company.

*Mike was also the 2007 SIA US SnowSports Regional Rep of the Year winner for the South region.
