The Bring a Friend Challenge and First Day Faces promotion are in full swing. The first Challenge winner has already been chosen! Louis Capozzi, a long-time ski enthusiast from Bend, OR, won a pair of HeatWave gloves from Seirus for introducing his daughter-in-law to skiing at Mt. Bachelor (pictured right). More than 20 brands (SIA members) are taking part in the Challenge by allocating prizes for the winners.
Anyone who “takes the Challenge” becomes a Snow Sports Ambassador. The person who introduces the most newcomers to lessons will be named our Ambassador of the Year. Last year’s winner – Scott Kolts – just visited Utah, the grand prize for introducing 15 people last season.
Seven mini trip “Getaways” to various resorts also are prizes in the Challenge. Anyone, including industry personnel, can enter the Challenge. It ends February 28, 2015.
There have been several First Day Faces winners so far and lots of photos of happy kids on snow. The winner of the social media campaign will also win a trip to Utah. The First Day Faces Campaign ends February 28, 2015.
Web traffic on the leanrotskiandsnowboard.org site is up 24% in sessions and more than 100% in page views.
