Bring A Friend
The Bring a Friend Challenge is open to anyone who is in a position to introduce newcomers to skiing and snowboarding. In fact, participation now includes current skiers or snowboarders and newcomers who want to "bring a friend" - thus giving resorts and retailers the possibility of providing a "two-for-one offer" if they so choose.
Learn To Ski And Snowboard Month
January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month. Ski areas and resorts in more than 30 states celebrate with special offers to get children and adults out on the snow and taking lessons from a professional instructor.
Winter Trails Day offers children and adults new to snow sports the chance to try snowshoeing and cross-country skiing for FREE. This is an easy introduction to the great fitness and social benefits available through these easy-to-learn winter sports. The 20th annual Winter Trails Day is on January 9, 2016 and involves almost 100 resorts and Nordic Centers nationwide. Each year, Winter Trails gets 11,000 kids and adults on the snow.
World Snowboard Day
WSD is a FREE opportunity for people around the world to discover snowboarding as a sport and culture wherever they live. World Snowboard Day annually get riders on snow globally at over 100 events in 30 countries. This year’s World Snowboard Day is December 20, 2015.
