Chris will be working part-time, due to his ongoing responsibility in a New Hampshire business.  Currently he is President of Blake’s All Natural Foods, a rapidly growing organic food manufacturer in Concord, New Hampshire.  Chris will be allocating a portion of his time to Tecnica/Blizzard, working directly with Peter Weaver, CEO of the Tecnica Group.  Prior to Blake’s, Chris’ most recent experience in the winter sports industry was President of Dynastar/Lange and holding senior management positions with Salomon prior to that.

Commenting on the new position, Weaver said, “We are delighted to have someone with the background and experience of Chris join our team.  His results and attitude are aligned with the Tecnica Group’s approach to doing business.  He will work with me to guide the sales activities and key account relationships, as well as to provide executive oversight to the programs and long-term strategy for the brands.  At the time of significant and rapid growth of the Blizzard brand and renewed interest in the Tecnica brand, we are confident that Chris will make a positive contribution to continuing those trends.”

Chris summarized his view of this Advisor role, “I am excited and honored to be working with Peter and the team at Tecnica/Blizzard.  The iconic products, the people and the culture of a team so passionate about skiing are the reasons I am so enthusiastic about joining the Tecnica/Blizzard team.   Though my advisory role will only be on a part time basis I’m looking forward to contributing to the continued growth of both brands”.
