Copper Mountain, CO (April 1, 2009) — Copper is the host venue for the largest amateur snowboarding and freeskiing event on earth – the 2009 USASA Nationals, from April 3 – 11. This year, nearly 1,600 of the top regional finishers will attend the USASA Nationals to compete against some of the best male and female athletes from around the country in slopestyle, superpipe, boardercross, slalom and giant slalom in their quest to become national champions.

Saturday, April 4 (Practice Day)

8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.   Venues open for practice
4:00 – 8:00 p.m.   Opening Ceremonies in Burning Stones Plaza
4:00 – 5:30 p.m.   En Fuego: DJ Spins in Burning Stones Plaza
6:15 – 7:00 p.m.   Opening Ceremonies Parade in the Village at Copper
7:15 – 7:45 p.m.   En Fuego: BMX Show in Burning Stones Plaza
7:50 p.m   En Fuego: Torchlight Parade on Main Vein
8:00 p.m.   En Fuego: Fireworks Display
