Lafayette, CO (December 3, 2013) – Eider, the French based manufacturer of ski and outdoor apparel, invites you to participate in their winter campaign, “THANK YOU SKI SHOPS”, an online contest that will run on tetongravity.com from December 4th through January 15th.
“We wanted to do something that would directly support and celebrate our core retailers,” says Maro LaBlance, Eider US Marketing Manager. “For skiers, there has always been a certain excitement that comes with walking into a ski shop,” she continues. “We all have fond memories of the look/feel of certain store, checking out all the newest gear, or a particular sales associate who took time to help us. So we thought, let’s take this opportunity to celebrate those shops and give thanks!”
Entering the contest is easy. Participants will simply nominate their favorite ski shop, including city and state where the shop is located. Those who nominate will be entered into a drawing, where two random entries will be selected to win a prize package and one additional entry will be selected to win a grand prize package. Additionally, the shop with the most nominations at the end of the contest will win two grand prizes to distribute to their staff as they see fit.
Prize packages include an Eider jacket of winner’s choice, Millet’s award winning backcountry ski pack, the Matrix 30 MBS, and a pair of Julbo Orbiter Goggles with Zebra lens. The grand prize packages include the aforementioned items, along with a 14-15 One Planet Pass from Monarch Mountain, which includes days at 32 resorts in the US and abroad, and a pair of lift tickets to a variety of Vermont resorts, compliments of Ski Vermont.
Additionally, participants will have the option of leaving a comment as to why they voted for the shop. Comments will be shared with retailers to provide them with shopper feedback and testimonials.
