Greg Ditrinco Named Editorial Director of Bonnier’s Mountain Titles

Boulder, CO (June 16, 2010) — Bonnier Corp. has announced the promotion of Greg Ditrinco to editorial director of Bonnier’s mountain titles, which include its flagship brands of SKI, Skiing and Warren Miller’s Snoworld. He also will continue as brand director for SKI.

“With the first true digital ski magazine, mobile apps, mag-plus editions, new events in the field and a variety of online products, Bonnier is perfectly positioned to take the winter sports industry into the new-media age,” says Ditrinco.

“I am so excited for Greg’s vision to lead us into the future of the organization editorially as we venture into all these new forms of media,” says Merri Lee Kingsly, vice president of publishing for the mountain titles. “His knowledge, vision and passion for the sport will continue to allow us to be leaders in the industry.”

Ditrinco has worked for SKI for 13 years; he served as executive editor for five years before his promotion to editor in early 2009. Prior to his days with SKI, Ditrinco was the editor of the Aspen Daily News and senior editor of Snow Country magazine, a division of The New York Times Magazine Group, in Connecticut.

“Our job is to deliver information skiers need, where and when they need it, and to inspire them to head to the mountains and enjoy the ski life,” adds Ditrinco. “We’re excited about the vast potential to better serve our readers through new products and old-fashioned excellence in journalism.”

A graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont, Ditrinco ski-bummed in Sun Valley, Idaho, for several years immediately after college. He attended business and journalism graduate schools at Boston University before moving to Aspen, Colorado. He presently lives in Boulder with his wife and two young children, who are both learning to ski.
