SIA Snow Show exhibit will display hottest products for 2010.11
McLean, VA (December 22, 2009) — SnowSports Industries America (SIA) recently announced details around a new product exhibit, INNOVATIONS, NOW, open to retailers, press and consumers during the upcoming SIA Snow Show (January 28-31, 2010) at the Colorado Convention Center. As the name hints at, the INNOVATIONS, NOW exhibit will highlight next season’s latest innovations and hottest trends from the snow sports industry.
Set up museum style, Show attendees and consumers will be able to wander through exclusive product “galleries” to get a sneak peek at what’s new in snow. Over 120 companies have supplied product entries, many covering several categories. INNOVATIONS, NOW will include over 200 new products across all snow sports categories including alpine, snowboard, AT, telemark, backcountry, cross country, snowshoe, kids, fashion and accessories.
“The Salomon Freeski team broke new ground this month skiing big waves in Hawaii using our skis. The skis we’re showcasing are an offshoot of the skis used in Hawaii. The wave skis also make fantastic deep powder skis, so we beefed them up to handle the mountain and created a ski that can be used on water and snow,” commented Jason Starr, Founder, Starr Surf Skis.
“We’re highlighting the growth of backcountry riding and splitboarding in particular. We summed it up with Splitboarding Is The Answer’ and submitted our award winning Storm splitboard for the backcountry segment of the exhibit,” said Lisa Branner of Venture Snowboards.
Each product entry will appear with a detailed product description. Retailers and press will be able to access the product descriptions during and after the Snow Show on SIA’s website (siasnowshow.com). The INNOVATIONS, NOW exhibit will be on display during the SIA Snow Show in the Grand Concourse of the First Floor Lobby of the Colorado Convention Center.
