Industry Veteran to Oversee Sales Operations for Custom Ski Magazine Industry Leader
Portsmouth, NH (March 11, 2010) — Hawthorn Publications, the leading publisher of ski magazines for snow resorts throughout North America, today announced the appointment of Josh Weis as Vice President of Sales, overseeing the company’s US and Canadian sales operations.
A ski industry veteran, Mr. Weis has been with Powder Magazine for over 12 years, serving the award winning publication as Publisher.
At Hawthorn Publications, Mr. Weis will be responsible for business development for the entire North American market and is charged with extending the reach of Hawthorn Publications’ custom content products particularly in the snow sports and mountain resort industry. “Josh’s passion for and knowledge of the snow sports industry makes him a key player in what will be a key market for Hawthorn’s expansion in the coming years,” says publisher Jessica Kaiser.
