Lafayette, CO (November 12, 2009) — The Killy brand takes on the US market with renewed excitement under the direction of the Lafuma Group. Killy is certainly not new, launched in 1975, Killy will soon be celebrating its 35th anniversary.

Killy can attribute its longevity in the market to staying classic in a modern sense and by bringing innovation to sophistication. Killy is one of the leading textile brands in the ski universe and attributes this to its French design team and global recognition. Killy is sold thru the top US retailers and prominent shops around the globe.

Since the creation in 1975, Jean Claude Killy still plays a key roll in the brand and has maintained his passion and commitment for perfection. Jean-Claude’s infamous accomplishment of winning 3 gold medals in the 1968 Grenoble Olympic Games has yet to be replicated. This success has led him to many other challenges in the world of sport. In 1992, he was the co-president of the Winter Olympics in Albertville, France. Currently, Jean Claude is the Chairman of the IOC Coordination Commission, for the Winter Olympic Games to take place in Sochi, Russia in 2014.
