Midwest Ski Areas Association Announces New President/Executive Director

News:

Midwest Ski Areas Association Chairman Rob Walz announcing today that Amy Reents of Hastings MN will become the new President/Executive Director of the ski areas association effective May 1, 2016.  Amy is co-owner of Mount Kato Ski Area in Mankato, MN.  She spent over 25 years at Afton Alps located in Hastings MN which was co-founded by her father.  Amy has been an MSAA Board member since 2002, as well as Past Chair prior to accepting the role of MSAA President/Executive Director.

Chris Stoddard will assume a new role within the organization. He has been the Executive Director of the organization since it was created 25 years ago. Chris will remain active in the organization during an ongoing transition and continue oversight of the MSAA Ski Area Rental and Accessory Management Program as well his business Mountain Management Services.
