West Lebanon, NH (July 29, 2010) — About a year ago Amy, Nordica Customer Service Supervisor, found out that her division of the Army National Guard was set for deployment for the Middle East in September of 2010. It seemed like such a long time away but that day is quickly approaching, September 11, 2010 to be exact, and as of tomorrow Amy begins her leave of absence from Nordica to organize the personal aspects of her life before deployment.
Amy has always aspired to serve her country and took on this huge commitment about 4 four years ago, dedicating weekends, personal time and vacation time to training with the Army National Guard. She is an outstanding person and employee who always volunteers to help others. Amy started her career with Nordica in May of 2003 as a Customer Service Representative. All of us here at Nordica are proud of Amy and her accomplishments and will miss her dearly during her deployment. Amy, a Specialist in the Army National Guard, will be working in the security field while in the Middle East. We look forward to her safe return in October of 2011.
In the interim, Nordica has hired Martha LaPorte to fill in for Amy’s territory during her deployment. Martha has been training with Nordica Customer Service since March of 2010. You can reach Martha via phone at 800.892.2668 x 5024 and/or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Martha is a graduate of University of Vermont with a degree in business. She was born and raised in Sunapee, NH and has been skiing since she was a toddler. Please join me in welcoming Martha to the team.
