Northwest rep group announces restructuring and adding new lines to position for growth in outdoor, ski and lifestyle categories and increase retailer support
Boise, ID (January 5, 2016) — Redfish Outdoor Associates LLC announced a reorganization of the company’s operations and a name change immediately as Redfish Group, LLC. The decision to restructure was imminent in order to focus on core activities, drive long-term growth, increase sales and better serve retail customers.
Nate Pickens will lead the newly named Redfish Group, LLC. This new agency will focus on premium brands in the outdoor, ski, and eyewear space. This transition coincides with the transition out of Redfish Outdoor Associates. Hiring of additional staff will support this growth in the next months.
Pickens, a UMF ski industry alumni, started his career as a tech rep for Boeri helmets while still in college and moved into broadcast shortly after leaving school. He became the station manager of an award winning RSN TV station at Sunday River and went on to do freelance work for CNN, the Weather Channel, TLC, Speed Channel and others. Nate’s passion for the outdoors lead him to Colorado where he founded RSN TV in Winter Park and Steamboat Springs. He began a full-time rep career five years ago using his experience to grow relationships and enhance brand distribution channels in the Pacific North West. Redfish Group will use hands-on approach that will include sales trainings, event presence, and superior service to lead its brand partners to success.
Current lines include Kaenon, Faction, Roxy Skis, Ortovox, Elan, Alpina Alpine Division and Sierra Designs. The underlying objective will be to bring these premium brands to the forefront of the outdoor industry in the territory.
