Rossignol’s Experience Center: Skiing is Now Easier, More Fun and More Inspiring for Everyone!

Park City, UT (August 9, 2012) — Coming off of one of the worst winters on record, it’s more important than ever to increase awareness that skiing and snowboarding is now easier, more fun and more inspiring for first-time beginners to all-mountain experts.

Did You Know?

  • Skiers and snowboarders list “the challenge of getting better at the sport” as the # 1 reason for giving it up altogether
  • Most skiers/snowboarders do not aspire to be involved in the “extreme” aspect of winter sports, though this is most often how winter sports are portrayed and perceived
  • Cost (or expense) did not even make the top 15 reasons given as to why skiers and snowboarders choose to stop participating

For the 2012/13 season, Rossignol is partnering with multiple destination resorts and local ski hills across the U.S. to deliver a better rental and learning experience with the Rossignol Experience Center.

“In side by side comparison, students on the Experience Rental simply get better quicker ” -Eric Barnes, Snowsports School Director, Mount Snow

“I give Rossignol a lot of credit for incorporating rocker technology into a standardized learning program.” Mike Doyle,

Not only has the new Experience Center program proven itself by providing a more enjoyable ski experience through award-winning technology and modern skiing tips, but it actually helped increase revenue at participating resorts by 15-20% during the 11/12 season (one of the worst winters on record!). Through our award-winning new equipment, new technologies and new Experience Center program we’re working hard to continue growing ski and snowboard participation across the globe.

I’d love the chance to speak to you more about this or any of the exciting new Rossignol Group products hitting ski shop walls this fall.
