CFO and Managing Partner of Wilmington Marketing Company Retires

Wilmington, NC (July 21, 2009) — After 12 years as Chief Financial Officer of Sage Island Marketing, Ron Staton announced his retirement last year, and in his place at the financial helm, Sage Island is pleased to announce the addition of Amy Winstead, CPA. In her new role as Controller, Amy will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of Sage Island.

“While I will miss my friend and business partner of the past 12 years being involved in the day to day aspects of business, I have the upmost confidence that Amy will help to lead Sage Island successfully into the future,” said Mike Duncan, President. “It was imperative to hire someone like Amy to ensure the continued financial longevity of the company. While online marketing has remained resilient during the recession, it is important to continue to closely monitor finances, provide high quality customer service and affordable marketing product packages.”

Amy joins Sage Island with 15 years of experience in corporate finance, staff development and ERP technologies. She previously worked for Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. in Cary before relocating to Wilmington. Amy is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.A. in Accounting.
