Salt Lake City, UT (August 9, 2011) — Majesty Skis is stoked to announce its debut to the US market in time for the 2011/12 winter season! The European brand is building off its early success in the freeski market to bring its complete lineup of freestyle, all mountain, powder, and big mountain skis to the United States. Every pair of skis sold in the US expands the Skis4Trees program, an eco-friendly program conceived by Majesty in which a tree is planted for every pair of skis it sells.
Majesty CEO Janusz Borowiec stated “We are excited to introduce the Majesty brand to the US, a key market that is experiencing rapid growth in the freeskier segment. We have built a loyal following across Europe over the last 5 years and look forward to building relationships in the US freeskier community. The variety of our product lineup fits well into the categories seeing expansion, including park/pipe, big mountain, and powder skis.”
Majesty Skis USA is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, a central location for Rocky Mountain and Sierra Nevada resorts, as well as a fast, convenient shipping point to other regions. Dealers are quickly signing on to carry the skis and participate in a unique demo program that will allow customers to try before they buy. Public sales will also be accessible through www.MajestySkisUSA.com in the event a local dealer is not available.
Mike Von Lunen, US Sales Manager, added, “Our local riders and testers had very positive experiences on the skis last spring, and we are using that momentum to fuel the launch in the fall of 2011. The design, technology, and performance have received high accolades in Europe, and we anticipate an equally stellar acceptance in the US.” Majesty will attend both the Winter Outdoor Retailer show and SIA in January 2012, including the on-snow demos. Dealers interested in carrying the freeski brand or to learn more about the lineup should contact Mike at firstname.lastname@example.org.
