Boulder, CO (February 12, 2014) — Spyder has experienced significant growth over the past five years with its new management team and the revamped brand DNA and compelling product assortment that have accompanied the change. It is now now forging ahead, under new ownership, on another company growth plan.
Accessories and corporate uniform sales have been strong for the brand in recent years, and there will be a renewed focus in those areas for years to come with new initiatives and new leadership, punctuated by the addition of Greg Bardin to the Spyder sales team.
According to Russ Rowan, Spyder’s SVP of Sales and Global Marketing, “Greg Bardin has been in the winter sports accessory business for 30 years and is well-known as the face behind the Bula brand. We are stoked to have Greg take the driver’s seat in our glove, essential and resort uniform categories. With his background and the respect he has gained over the years, he’s a key addition to our team as we now look forward to achieving our new company goals.” Rowan continued: “When we went looking for this new role we looked over on the accessory side of the industry, as this is where we really see major opportunity for growth. What is needed is someone with several years experience, a pioneer, and someone who understands this market on every level – Greg is that guy.”
Bardin, himself, added: “I am extremely exited to be taking on this new role at Spyder. I have always been a big fan of the brand and when I was approached about this opportunity and a chance to work with this incredible team, I immediately wanted to be a part of it.”
