Copper DMP Features New Dynamic Molding Process
Ferndale, WA (July 20, 2010) — Superfeet Worldwide Inc. will introduce Copper DMP, a new self-moldable Trim-to-Fit Premium Insole, at the Summer Outdoor Retailer show in Salt Lake City, August 3-6.
The Copper DMP has a unique three-layer foam system featuring Superfeet’s proprietary Dynamic Molding Process to offer users a personalized fit without the need for an external heat source to shape the insole. Superfeet released a similar product with the same technology, Black DMP, two years ago specifically for medical professionals providing prescription footwear and orthotics. With the release of the Copper DMP, this technology is available for everyday use in the casual and lifestyle shoe markets.
Superfeet VP Sales Brad Parry says, “We are excited to offer such an accommodative product that reaches beyond the sport industry into the brown shoe and casual markets. The Copper DMP will open the door to a wider variety of people who may benefit from wearing a supportive insole in their everyday shoes while walking or working.”
A departure from the rest of Superfeet’s Trim-to-Fit insoles, Copper DMP features three different layers of foam: the dense bottom layer increases durability and stability, the interactive PU foam middle layer provides comfort without compromising stability, and the highly impressionable memory foam top layer cradles the shape of the foot. The friction-control nylon top cover allows the foot to move without creating excessive friction inside the shoe. Additionally, Copper DMP is treated with an antimicrobial by Agion to inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria.
Parry added, “This is the one insole that you could send to someone in the mail and feel assured that it will most likely work for them with no additional fitting. It’s a comfortable, low-impact choice that will be accessible to all of our customers.”
All Superfeet Trim-to-Fit Premium Insoles, including the new Copper DMP, feature the Encapsulating Stabilizer System [ESS], the combination of a unique stabilizer cap and a specifically-shaped foam full length to provide optimal underfoot support. This system creates a deep heel cup to cradle the heel’s fat pad for improved natural shock absorption, providing comfort and necessary stability for different activities, footwear and foot types.
