Kailee Bradstreet Appointed to Editor-in-Chief; Kelsey Smith Hired As Digital Managing Editor
Carlsbad, CA (April 6, 2015) — TRANSWORLD BUSINESS is excited to announce that it will continue to build on its 20-year history as the number one source for action sports news and information with several new editorial appointments.
The media property, under the umbrella of TEN: The Enthusiast Network and a sister title to SURFER, SURFING, TRANSWORLD SKATEBOARDING, TRANSWORLD SNOWBOARDING, SNOWBOARDER, and TRANSWORLD MOTOCROSS, has promoted Kailee Bradstreet to Editor-In-Chief. Bradstreet started as online editor for TW BUSINESS in 2008, helping grow the title’s digital presence and web traffic year-over-year, before being named Senior Editor in 2013.
In her new role, Bradstreet has brought on Kelsey Smith as Digital Managing Editor. For the last three years, Smith supported TRANSWORLD properties’ digital and video initiatives, and will carry that expertise into her new role, along with a strong journalism background acquired at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Smith joins Bradstreet, Sales Manager Allen Malone, and Assistant Designer Jamie Padilla to round out TRANSWORLD BUSINESS’ in-house staff. The team is supported by Senior Contributor Rob Campbell out of Bend, Oregon, and a seasoned panel of expert advisors.
For 2015, the team is refining it’s editorial strategy, placing additional emphasis on building strong digital franchises and video content, and continuing its mission as an authoritative resource for retailers and manufacturers.
