Laguna Beach, CA (December 21, 2012) — Sparc Retail, LLC, a leading provider of web-based enterprise software solutions, is pleased to announce that Hood River, Oregon based Trew has gone live on the company’s HubSoft suite of online sales and inventory management tools.
The fast-growing maker of high-quality Freeride outerwear required a single inventory, shipping and order management platform to support all its sales channels including wholesale (B2B), Pro and Employee Purchase and consumer-direct (D2C), with a seamless integration to it’s Quickbooks accounting system.
For Trew the HubSoft solution was a dream come true; access to the same top-shelf enterprise application architecture and functionality being utilized by much larger outdoor industry suppliers, but in a hosted SaaS model that allowed them not to worry about the technical resources to support internally, and with a pricing model appropriately geared toward the scope of their growing business.
For Trew co-founder Tripp Frey the goal was to find a platform of web-based tools that was intuitive to both use and administrate, yet market proven and fully robust in functionality, and built on a progressive architecture to suit a progressive brand going places.
”We had already evaluated some of the more well-known established’ vendors but felt they were too locked into dated tools and limited scope of functionality to fully represent Trew to our customers. From the first time we explored HubSoft we were impressed with not just how much better everything looked and flowed, but that they had really addressed all the current ways dealers and sales team needed to collaborate effectively with a dynamic eye on the future, while supporting all our direct sales channels thoroughly as well. We could see we weren’t likely to run into any walls functionally or creatively on HubSoft for Trew going forward.”
The HubSoft architecture allowed Trew to cost effectively design and build a custom front-end website on top of HubSoft for their consumers, Pros and Shop Employees using existing internal resources. While HubSoft feeds the www.TrewGear.com site the product content and powers the Dealer locator and eCommerce engine, Trew had 100% creative control over the brand presentation without any template limitations.
Sparc’s John Telfer added, “Brands of all sizes are suffering from growing multi-vendor fatigue to address their enterprise web services. We take pride on having what our clients advise us are best-in-class solutions, but what really gets operations, IT and finance excited is having the key services to support all their channel customers consolidated with one vendor and one ERP integration.”
Trew’s new B2B portal will provide 24/7, real-time access to product catalogs, availability, and promotions, as well as allow sales reps and dealers the
ability to check availability across all brands, build customized digital catalogs and workbooks, plan, place and track pre-book and at-once orders, view invoices, and receive critical business intelligence. The platform also integrates Dealer CRM to allow sales reps and their internal support teams to manage and track account activity from prospecting through order management and related support.
Just as Trew is committed to producing superior outdoors products for their customers, Sparc is helping Trew take this dedication to superior tools to their dealer partners. By providing direct 24/7 access to an array of product and order management tools, Trew is making it easier for its dealers to do business with them. It’s not just about moving fast, Trew’s new HubSoft B2B platform tools will allow their reps and internal sales teams to be more personal with their dealer partners, allowing them to focus on the complexities of the business, rather than ch
