Professional snowboarder Nate Holland has joined the VIRUS team as a sponsored athlete.
Huntington Beach, CA (November 27, 2012) — VIRUS Action Sport Performance recently announced that professional snowboarder Nate Holland has joined forces with the company as a sponsored athlete and ambassador.
Holland will play an important role in identifying the ideal choice for apparel during competition in addition to the hands-on testing of VIRUS’ technical first layer clothing. Holland is a well-renowned athlete whose has garnered several awards during his career. Some distinctions include being a six-time X-games SBX gold medalist as well as a member of the U.S. Olympic team.

According to Stone, VIRUS will be attending Boardercross events in the West and throughout the Rockies. Their first stop together is the Telluride World Cup. Their goal is to help bring recognition to the snowboarding sport while continuing to support Holland through all his success.
