New for 2014, the CRAFT @ SIA exhibit will create a hub to show off the artistic design, technological innovation and handmade quality that fuels this new category.

Participating exhibitors:

“As part of the boutique ski industry, it’s great to see SIA acknowledge the importance of small ski boutique companies.” added Bex Wilkinson, PR/sales rep for Big Wood Ski.

Backcountry Experience returns to the 2014 SIA Snow Show floor with educational seminars, industry professional appearances, and Q & A’s. The BC Experience focuses on what it takes to outfit consumers with the best in backcountry hardgoods and accessories while delivering the “Must Know” of safety information and protocol. This gives attendees the chance for backcountry buyers and media to see AT products and splitboards, along with beacons, poles, probes, shovels, skins, backpacks and airbags all in one place.

Some great seminars are presented in Backcountry Experience, including Avalanche Education and Building Brand Loyalty Presented by Friends of Berthoud Pass, and the Steep Life Protocols Presentation and Multiburial Search Contest Presented by Dean Cummings. All participants in the multi-burial contest on Friday will get schwag and can also enter to win the pair of H2OG Kodiak skis!
