SIA catches up with the industry to hear what they are working on and what they are looking forward to the most about the upcoming season.

Cathy HallBeing our first season in business, we have had to figure everything out from the ground up. Personally we have our boards waxed, the playlists ready and we are just waiting for snow! We can’t wait to outfit people in awesome and innovative new gear. And we can’t wait to get out there and put it all to use ourselves. Mostly we just want to get out there and enjoy the outdoors and live the life that we claim to be about. Our tagline is “do more of what makes you happy” To steal a line from the paddle boarder Kai Lenny – “If you’re not having fun then what’s the point?”- Cathy Hall, co-owner, Neverbored Board Shop, Inc.

Matt BerkowitzAt Fischer, the majority of our marketing strategies are fully in motion at this point, and we are already looking ahead to 13/14. Our Vacuum Fit boot program has really taken off in the last year, so that has been where much of our marketing focus has been. I am looking forward to skiing over-the-head blower powder of course! I’m looking forward to a solid snow year in hopes to stabilize our industry again. O'Connor“We’ve got a lot of exciting things cooking at PrimaLoft®: we’re developing a number of innovative new products, we’re expanding our offering of base layer fabrics and yarns, we’re enhancing our research and development initiatives, we’re exploring new markets and marketing strategies, we’re connecting with retailers, and we’re looking forward to a strong winter season ahead. We’re looking forward to connecting with retailers, brand partners and industry press at the 2013 SIA Snow Show. We’ll introduce innovative new products, discuss new business opportunities and educate retailers about PrimaLoft’s unique products. On a personal level, I’m excited to introduce my boys (3 & 5 yrs.) to skiing this season. We’re looking forward to enjoying some fun family adventures on the slopes.” – Diane C.
