Displays that feature multiples of items are often called power walls or power displays. The repetition of a particular item gives it importance and visual impact. Think of bookstores in airports where they sell magazines, newspapers and feature wall displays full of chips and nuts. That is one example of a power wall.
The photos of recent displays I worked on below are not exactly power walls – but show the potential of impact by repeating certain items – whether it’s a down jacket or a logo water bottle. This is an especially useful way to display when you have LOTS of something that you don’t have room to back stock. Use an empty, odd space to fill it with multiples.
