You’ve heard of power walls…there are also power displays. A power display can be loosely defined as an in-your-face display situated front and center when you enter a store – just beyond the decompression zone. The power display consists of at least three mannequins or similar item meant to make a big “wow” statement. So you can use skis or snowboards, along with ski or snowboard boots (or tele or nordic gear), packs, helmets and vary the height by using crates or whatever you have that creates the same staggered effect…you get the idea. And use products from your store that have a similar color scheme or pop to keep the eye moving, as demonstrated in the photo below.
