SIA Sales and Orders Surveys

SIA Sales and Orders Surveys are conducted by Sports Marketing Surveys USA with data submitted by participating SIA member companies. The information is collected and coded by a CPA firm and is strictly confidential. No brand data is ever released. The SIA Sales and Orders Surveys are only available to those SIA companies that submit data. Data is published only in the categories which the majority of manufacturing companies participate (at least 70% market share).

SIA Sales Survey
The SIA Sales Survey, which is issued in May, reports on unit and dollar shipments from suppliers to retailers for the 12-month period through March 31. This survey also includes discounted net wholesale dollars, discounted dollars per unit, gross wholesale dollars and wholesale dollars by unit for all price points.

SIA Orders Survey
The SIA Orders Survey, which is issued in July, reports on unit and dollar pre-season orders taken from retailers for shipment into the market for next season. This survey also includes discounted net wholesale dollars, discounted dollars per unit, gross wholesale dollars and wholesale dollars by unit for all price points.
