PORTLAND, OR (July 28, 2022) – SMITH is excited to announce its renewed and expanded partnership with Alterra Mountain Company as the exclusive product sponsor of eyewear and helmets among 15 Alterra-owned resorts across North America. The extended four-year agreement highlights SMITH and Alterra’s shared passion for the mountains and targets a multi-season approach to providing resort visitors protective and innovative gear – including SMITH’s snow and bike helmets and the brand’s proprietary ChromaPop™ lens technology across sunglasses and goggles – for a variety of on-mountain activities and adventures.
Partners since 2019, the expanded relationship between SMITH and Alterra now supports resorts in California and Nevada including Big Bear Mountain Resort, Snow Summit, June Mountain, Mammoth Mountain, and Palisades Tahoe. Throughout the season, SMITH will offer demo days for consumers to experience new products, retail promotions to grow resort sales, and on-mountain stoke including SMITH-branded terrain parks at Stratton, Snowshoe, and Big Bear resorts.
