After four days in the Colorado Convention Center at the 2016 SIA Snow Show, Nordic brands and buyers will head for the fresh air and snow at the Nordic Demo held at Copper Mountain Resort. On February 1 & 2, the industry’s only National On-Snow Nordic Demo will bring the Nordic community together, alongside the On-Snow Demo/Ski-Ride Fest.

“The Nordic Demo features the latest in skate skiing, classic cross country, touring and snowshoeing, and the Demo’s custom built 5K Nordic trail provides unparalleled conditions. It’s the best opportunity to test a large volume of gear all in one place. Best of all, getting the Nordic community together is very special and we look forward to it every year,” said SIA Nordic Director Reese Brown.

Seminars, happy hours and the ever popular Uphill Downhill Challenge fill the Nordic Demo schedule with great networking and time with friends and colleagues. See below for more details, including lodging info and tiered pricing options.

“The Nordic demo terrain is great for testing – there are a few hills, some flats. It was really great to be able to compare so much equipment side-by-side. Definitely worth coming!” said Adam Jonson of Pioneer Mountaineering.

With nearly 140 brands, the On-Snow Demo/Ski-Ride Fest is the largest international demo and cannot be missed. Retailers and media can compare hundreds of 2016.17 skis, snowboards, boots, poles, helmets, and accessories side by side under bluebird skies at Copper Mountain Resort. Get demo details.

“Year after year, the On-Snow Demo/Ski-Ride Fest at Copper proves to be ‘The Place’ to get out in the fresh air and test out the latest in innovations from all of your favorite brands and to try on something new from brands emerging on the market. This year we are working closely with Copper to bring AT/Tele into the main ski lot and once again Adaptive Action Sports will be hosting The Rhythm Rally to raise money for adaptive athletes.  It seems like every week I hear rumors of new events and friendly competitions coming to Copper this year, so stay tuned!” Cami Garrison, On-Snow Demo event organizer and WSSRA Association Director

4M participants hit the trails last season as Nordic equipment sales totaled $72M. Nordic hardgoods, softgoods and accessories are a major part of the Show. With over 50 brands exhibiting each year, you’ll see all the latest in gear innovations. Discover the Nordic Collective.
