The Collectives and Category Specific Exhibits Give You a Focused View of Key Market Segments

January 11, 2016 | 0 Comments

The Snow Show will be easier than ever to navigate this year, with the addition of The Collectives. New for 2016, The Collectives are specially curated neighborhoods on the Show floor, giving you an immersive view and a community feel for Ski, Snowboard, Nordic, Backcountry, Style and Women’s. Convene at each of the Collectives’ central gathering spaces for morning and afternoon refreshments and a chance to share ideas, trends and inspiration with colleagues.

Within each Collective neighborhood, you’ll also find our ever-popular Category Specific Exhibits including Backcountry Experience, CRAFT@SIA, Rental World/Backshop & Uniform Gallery, Nordic Center and OIWC Women’s Lounge.

Backcountry Experience is where retailers, reps and media learn more from the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) professionals. Last year welcomed athletes and guides including Chris Davenport, Lynsey Dyer, Jeremy Jones and more. Each day, Backcountry Experience hosts retail clinics, panel discussions, happy hours with the pros, in addition to supporting content structured around the basics of the Know Before You Go program. Read this week’s post about Backcountry Experience for more information, and go to SIAsnowshow.com/bcexperience for a full listing of events and seminars.
