44 days and counting ‘til our tribe convenes in Denver! We can’t wait to see everyone, and we’re hoping that your calendars are filled with all of the seminars and events that will round out your time at the Show and leave you feeling inspired. The educational opportunities begin at the 2016 Snow Show with Industry + Intelligence  on Wednesday, January 27. But it doesn’t stop there – our new addition, I+I Live, brings education to the Show floor with topics on marketing, research, production, trends and sales. Each seminar is designed to touch upon informative key tools for your business, staff and branding.

Industry + Intelligence kicks off the educational line-up with a free day of seminars, clinics, networking and inspiration. Industry + Intelligence has expanded this year with a new collaboration between SIA and NSAA, helping attendees get a comprehensive view of the entire industry. This cooperative effort gives all facets of the industry, including suppliers, retailers and resorts, a better handle on their customers’ needs. The industry day is scheduled to have nearly 20 sessions covering five core intel tracks – State of the Industry, Manufacturing and Production, Business Development, Marketing & Social Media, and the Specialty Retailer Series.

NSAA President Michael Berry will present NSAA State of the Industry: 2015/16, providing a view of the current state of the snow sports industry including snow sports demographics, financial performance metrics, visitation trends, and operational best practices.

“The commitment that SIA and NSAA have made to work together to share research is intended to allow all segments of the ski and snowboard industry to benefit. In an increasingly complex and competitive world shared information is our first line of defense,” said Berry.
