DIY Wednesday: All Under One Roof

August 19, 2015 | 0 Comments

Last weekend I was in a pretty card and gift store when I snapped this photo. I love this idea of a structure within a structure.

Underneath this “roof” were kids clothing and accessories. It’s an inventive yet practical way to create space within a space.  If you have a store that is one giant square in terms of layout, dividing space with some sort of screen, partition or structure like this is a clever way to bring a boutiquey feel to your sales floor.

Now to DIY, this would require a trip to the lumber yard and the necessary power tools. But once you build it, you can move it around throughout the year. Well worth the investment of time and money.
